Toks by Jane Design Studio offers one-on-one consultations on creating designs, developing products, and get them fit. Initial Consultation
Let’s start with the first step of the journey with Toks by Jane with an appointment. You will begin with the 1-to-1 personalized consultation with Creative Director, Jane. During the consultation, we will explore unique design that is a key element to success, but, alongside, we amalgamate fashion flavour truly according to your personality. Ultimately, we cannot forget that fashion is key to success. You can bring photos and coloured illustrations. Through careful anticipation, you will get the latest design outline and descriptions for shape as well as colour palettes with fabrics and trappings all handpicked to inspire the design of your dream garment.

Conceptualization
After getting an appointment, our creative director Jane will proffer her expert opinion to improve or entirely alter your preliminary design inspiration for your bespoke garment. She will also transform the ideas into a sketch to help you visualize the design of your outfit.
Your input is welcome at this stage, to let us know if you want any changes made to the initial design. Once the design is complete, we will move to the next step upon your worthy approval.
Once we are done with your measurements and get a good idea of your preferences and idea, the creative designer will use your selections to begin constructing the next step. With the design ready, we are going to start working on bringing your dream dress to life.
Bringing your vision to life
PATTERN ARRANGEMENT | FITTINGS
This stage is the real fun of the custom dress design process. During this stage, we create custom patterns of your design on paper.
Our first step is making your design in a toile using according to your dream patterns (a toile is a prototype version of a designed outfit made up of an alternative material so that the design, can be tested and perfected).
If your formal event or wedding is just around the corner, you may need one or two fittings. You may need additional fittings and alterations if your event is far in the future, or if you have any significant weight loss or gain. This will guarantee the dress still fits you accurately.
The custom-designed wardrobe is hand-crafted and it may take around 80 to 200 hours to create it. Once ultimate perfection is achieved, you will be called to come in for the final fitting trial.
Final Fitting
Now that we have designed and ready that fits you, it is time to evaluate your garment. Every single person who needs to sign off on the garment is waiting for the outcome of the trial room. This is you, our creative director Jane and the whole team that has made this dream possible. It is so important for you, the designer, and the whole team that we truly mean this stage of the process. Once the piece is perfected, you will be called to come in for the final fitting. Our team will make sure the final product sits properly on your body and fits like a glove.
